Discovery Garden’s, LLC was established in 2002 as a subsidiary company of California Oregon
Seed, Inc. to provide a marketing division for its innovative potato varieties. The two companies
work in conjunction and continue to perpetuate the solid business integrity that California Oregon
Seed was founded upon in 1965. The founders have extensive production experience in developing
high quality table stock, chip stock, and seed potatoes.
We are located in Oakdale, California with a nationwide network of growers, packers and marketers.

California Oregon Seed needed a marketing
division to handle its new venture, so a new
company name was needed. Discovering
varieties is what Rob Campbell, general
manager, has been up to for 20 years. Though
potatoes get planted in ground much larger
than what one would call a garden, it seemed
appropriate. Together the words Discovery
Garden's, seemed to capture Rob's vision.
